Rozint Transit

Yesterday, we got IP transit from Rozint! The Rozint website doesn’t have a whole lot on it, but we were able to order the IP transit from F4 Networks.

It’s only 100Mbit/s, but they announce our routes to:

Right now we don’t need much bandwidth, so having a nice blend of transit options is nice.

After waiting for a couple of days, IPv6 still wasn’t working. I reached back out to HE and they’re looking into it. I don’t know if I broke something or helped them discover an issue with their automated filtering. Either way, I appreciate the free transit and their help.

Invalid RPKI ROA

I wanted to announce a unique IPv6 subnet from each of my points of presence. To do this I added the prefix 2602:F9F4:20::/44 in ARIN thinking I could then announce the 48’s from that prefix. However, I didn’t specify the Max Length when doing that. This restricted me to only announcing the entire 44.

The wonderful team at HE showed me what I did wrong. Since then I’ve updated the ROA and I’m waiting on that change to propagate. I’m using Cloudflare’s RPKI tool to check it.
