Today we deployed a Vultr server in Chicago and peered with them as an upstream!

Today we joined the Fremix IX!

Today I’m trying to peer with Xentain, but I seem to be doing something wrong. I tried using the same PathVector config from HyeHost, but it’s not working. I updated the values needed to match with the Xentain network.

I think the issue has to do with how I’m assigning my IPv6 address to an interface. I can get the peering to work, but then IPv6 connectivity breaks. And vice-versa.

We are now officially a member of the F4IX internet exchange! You can find X6CNET on the members page.

My link to F4IX is now live! I’m just waiting on my credentials to the IX manager so I can finish joining the Route Servers.

PeeringDB just approved my account and I updated the entry for AS46733.

Here is a brief timeline of what we’ve done so far:

• requested an ASN on 8-12-2024 and it was approved on 8-13-2024
• peered with HyeHost
• today we requested another /24 so we can setup an anycast network
• started the process of joining a few IXPs
